National Tapestry Master Course

Intermediate and advanced level weave / carpet weaving / tapestry course starts in Budapest, Hungary with tapestry artist, Éva Farkasvölgyi.

Topic of the intermediate course:

Weaving geometric and circular forms on the weaving frame.

The advanced level course is recommended for those, who would aim to learn the technique of The Paris Gobelins Manufactory ( Manufacture des Gobelins) where they used to make the old wall carpets. In this course you can learn (on weave frames) the technique of hachure, what is the classical french tapestry.

You may only want to apply for the course if you know how to weave tapestry, but do not know the classic French hashure technique.

We provide interpreter in English.
